Welcome back and prepare yourself for an amazing recipe that you will love if you are a LEMON fan. It really easy to make and is for sure something that you will want to make to show off a little.
All you need is::
-1 cup butter (softened)
-½ cup white sugar
-2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
-4 eggs
-1 ½ cups white sugar
-2 lemons, juiced
-1/2 cup powder sugar
And the directions are as follows::
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees
-In a medium bowl, blend together softened butter, 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup sugar
-When well combined press mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9x13 inch pan.
-Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, (should be firm and golden)
-In another bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup flour
-Whisk in the eggs and lemon juice
-When well combined pour over the baked crust
-Bake for an additional 20 minutes
-Remove from oven and let cool (the bars will firm as they cook (let cool for at least 1 hour)
-Dust with powder sugar
-Cut into uniform 2 inch squares
-Serve and enjoy!
