Hundreds of kids I have came across throughout my years but these 2 will always be my babies.

Some of their best summers and school breaks were spent with me because I always wanted them to come to me and have an amazing time that they would be able to go back to school and have stories to tell. I wanted to be that cool cousin and aunt that they would want to turn to when they were older and I feel that we built a solid foundation for that bond. These two were my babies alone and together. From wanting to dress alike and have the same hairstyles to bypassing the fact that they were auntie and niece to being sisters. The bond that they had growing up regardless of their huge age gap of 7 years is something that you want every kid to have.

Khy brought out Shamies imagination and kept her a kid. Shamie brought out Khylani’s personality and made her shine out of her shy state.

Still to this day these girls look and act so similar and their love for each other is the same as it was back when they were younger.
These girls are not babies to the world anymore but to me they will always be my babies! Hey I guess it’s just extra practice for my children to come.
