I was asked by my friend to make some chocolate chip cookies with whole wheat flour and light sugar, at first I looked a bit confused then thought hey why not! And this is what I came out with:

All you need is:
1/2 cup olive oil virgin
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Directions are as follows:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Place sugar into large mixing bowl
Stir in oil until well combined
Add in egg stirring well
Add in vanilla and stir well
Stir in baking soda and salt
Add in flour and chocolate chips and stir till dough forms
Scoop dough onto greased baking sheet (about 1 inch apart as they will spread)
Bake (9 minutes if you would like soft or 12 minutes if you like a little more crisp)
Remove from oven and let cool on making sheet for about 10 minutes
Serve
Enjoy!
