15 season veteran Frank Gore signing with the Jets at 37, based on his stats and fast pace that will hopefully lighten the load in Le’Veon Bell. Last year as a free agent he signed a 1 year $2 million dollar deal with the Bills and this year what will he be making for his 16th season is still up in the air. While with the Bills he ran 166 times for 599 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. He is for sure coming to the team in a standout leadership role that will pump the team in the locker room from all of his experience and his drive. Its crazy that he is still playing as his son Frank Gore Jr will be starting as the running back at Southern Mississippi this season as well. Gore is entering the season with 15,347 rushing yards leaving him trailing behind Wlater Payton for the #2 spot, will he stay in the league long enough to gain the #1 position? Gore always said he wanted to retire from the league as Niner, let’s see if he goes to San Francisco 2021 season.
Will Marshawn Lynch be returning to Seattle again this season? He came to the Raiders in 2017 after a year off and last year he returned to the Seahawks for 3 games. With Lynch we always expect the unexpected so it looks like he my be coming back. After having 14 months off from the league he came in week 17 and carried 30 times for 67 yards and scored 4 touch downs. They brought him in last season because of the injuries that they had and if they continue it totally makes sense for them to bring him in. I do think that if he has this off season to work out and practice he will have more of a chance to get ready for higher yards and more carries, because we all would have liked to see more from him.
