This is the first year that kids will not be bringing home handmade Mother’s Day gifts from school. So I thought that I should show you a few easy things that your kids can make at home to give to mom was on her special day. Mother’s Day 2020 is Sunday May 10th.
Typically I have my class make 4 small paper crafts and notes to take home to mom plus a major diy gift that they made in class. Some of the things that we have made over the years have been:
Photo frames with their own photos
Wax transfer candles
Bath bombs
Necklace
Customized coffee mugs
Paper flower bouquets
Coupon books
Canvas paintings
Pot holders
Mason jars with cookie mix inside
The mothers and grandmothers have been so happy and delighted with the crafts that their students make. Some items turn out so well that they keep these things for years and are surprised when the next years item tops that one.
Below are some easy crafts that you can make with things that you should have at home:
