The one with Brazilian Lemonade...

Writer's picture: Ms. BrandiMs. Brandi

In the summers at my brothers house we set a huge mason jar jug with fresh spa water out daily and on the weekends we switch it out with fresh light drinks. One of my favorites has to be Brazilian Lemonade.

It sounds really fancy and is so refreshing but it’s actually really easy to make, just mix the following into a jug of jar:

7 cups of water

3/4 cup sugar

1 cup of fresh lime juice (about 6 limes)

zest of one lime

1/2 cup condensed milk

Place in the fridge to chill or serve over ice. You can garnish with slices of lime if you want to get fancy.

This is surely a drink that will be a hit at your summer parties! You can even sub out the limes for lemons if you want it to be a little less tart. And if you want an island feel you can sub out the condensed milk for coconut condensed milk for a hint of coconut.
