Ready for another sweet treat that you can make with a few simple items? If so why not make an Oreo Cheesecake! Its way easier than you would think::
All you need is:
-8 oz Cream Cheese
-2 tea Vanilla
-24 Oreos
-1 tub Cool Whip
-4 tbs Butter (melted)
-Dish (for serving)
The directions are pretty simple as well:
-Separate cookies and cream
-Whip the cookie cream in the stand mixer or by hand with a whisk
-Place cookies into a ziplock bag and crush
-Add cream cheese to the whisked cookie cream and whisk for about 2 minutes until light and fluffy
-Add cookie crumbs and melted butter into the bottom of the serving dish, mix around so call crumbs are coated and press tightly against bottom and edges
-Add vanilla into the cream mixture and whisk in until combined
-Add in cool whip and whisk in until well combined (do not over mix)
-Scoop the cream mixture into the cookie crumb crust and smooth out
-Place in fridge for at least one hour to chill
-Slice and enjoy!
This is the cheesecake that we made last night, we chose not to put crumbs up the sides of the pie and just at the bottom. We think that it tasted just like a double stuffed Oreo.
