Q: Is your name really Brandi
A: Yes of course, I actually found out a few years ago that my dad chose that name based on a song.
Q: Where are you from
A: I was born in Castro Valley, lived in Hayward for 2 years, moved to Carson until the age of 12 and then lived in Hayward ever since.
Q: What nationality are you
A: I'm Fijian Indian for sure and my dad is a whole bunch of everything lol
Q: Favorite song
A: Always and Forever by Heatwave (Judge me not, it’s a classic)
Q: What is your bra size and where do you get your bras and why do you have so many
A: LMFAO! (Can't believe I'm answering this one) I wear a 40DDD, I get my bras from Lane Bryant and I have a bunch because I love a variety.
Q: What does a daily schedule look like
A: This quarantine has it all out of wack
Q: If you could describe yourself in 3 words what would they be
A: 1. Bubbly
2. Smart
3. Spontaneous
Q: Worst thing that has happened to you
A: This for sure will have its own dedicated blog post, but to briefly answer the question 2 days before high school I was sexually assaulted by a distant family member.
Q: Why are you a Raiders fan
A: My dad raised us as Raider fans from the start so its just natural for us to have followed in suit, we were born into this.
Q: Did COVID ruin any set plans or trips you had planned
A: Omg yes, the one time I plan things.
Cesar Chavez weekend I should have been in LA for 4 days
Spring Break a week would have been in Atlanta (Somewhere I've always wanted to go)
Jacksonville from April 23rd to 28th for my brothers graduation
And a bunch of day and weekend trips that I planned with my G
Q: What is you favorite movie
A: Umm I don’t think one, but if it’s a Bollywood it would have to be Vivah
Q: What's something that you wish you could do one more time
A: Talk to my dad, we had a rocky relationship but he was a huge part of my foundation and I feel like I showed him what I was lacking from our relationship and that brought us closer. I just wish that I could tell him that I love him one more time and that he will never be alone.
Q: Why haven’t you published any books yet
A: I honestly have came close but I felt like they haven't been fully finished for the world
Q: When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up
A: I always wanted to be a teacher and a mommy LMFAO
Q: Are you single
A: Yes, it if was up to my mom, my sister in law and Rozina mami I would be married lmfao!
Q: Favorite TV show
A: Lmfao laugh not but 90 Day Fiancé
Q: What's your favorite book
A: All time favorite has to be The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros
Q: What's your zodiac and do you follow it
A: I am a Scorpio, I do not really follow it but I do think that it’s interesting and my cousins usually fill me in on the cool specifics.
Q: What are your hobbies
A: A little bit of everything honestly, I love to drive, do henna, make vinyl prints, cook, draw, write, listen to music, making leis watch sports, go on long walks, anything artsy or crafty, and look for new hobbies. I'm all about trying everything at least once.

A: 1. My mom & family

Q: What has your biggest accomplishment in life been
A: Graduating college, the look on my parents faces and the pride that they had of their little girl being the first to do it for the family is something that I will never forget.
Q: Your mom is overprotective, how does that make you feel
A: Honestly I'm so use to it and I embrace it because I know once those calls don't come anymore I will miss it for sure. She is all that I have and I am all that I have so its just important for her to know that I am safe at all times because this is a crazy world.
Q: I seen that you bought your car cash (Congrats) do you have any recommendations for saving money
A: Thank you so much, I am still in love with the decision and saving that I did to get Oreo. I did a few different things to save money, some that worked for me were a bit extreme and might not work for others. But of course all of the saving that I have done and continue to do has not all gone to my car, I could not allow myself to empty the whole bank. My mom always jokes that I'm a penny pincher and I guess I am at some things. But I worked 7 week summer camps for the past 4 summers and didn't spend that money, rather I had it deposited into my savings account (working for the school district I'm able to get 12 checks in the year so I do still have an income coming in) and just left it there. I have also saved every $5 bill, quarter and nickle that I have came across for the past 5 years. And I also do a bunch of side hustles that bring in a good amount of money.
Q: Do you like to cook
A:Cooking is a passion of mine because food makes people happy and I am a huge people pleaser, few people know that I have always wanted to own a food truck.
Q: What's your biggest fear
A: To die, not actually death itself but more of being in the grave will all of my thoughts as I await judgement day. I think its mostly the world of the unknown.
Q: Have you ever been in love
A: With my family or my kids, yes! But with a man...no I have been in lust or a high degree of like but not love.
Q: Why do you go by Ms. Brandi when that's your 1st name
A: My mom will forever be Mrs. Potts and Ms. Potts is a little too close, I can't steal her shine (if you grew up with us you would understand)
Q: What's a goal that you would like to achieve in the near future
A: I really want to own a home and to be back in the classroom
Q: Has anyone ever told you that you look like anyone
A:Well I always get that I look like my brother, so I sometimes refer to him as my twin (he is 1 year and 9 months older than me). You can be the judge:

Q: Why are you always so happy
A: Am I really? I feel like there are so many people are sad and worried in the world so seeing a positive person with a bright smile is refreshing so I like to be that person.
Q: How are you staying sane during this quarantine
A: Honestly, I am a huge stay at home person so I don’t think it’s as bad for me as it is for others. I for sure relaxed a little more than I should have and watched a few too many shows but hey it helped pass time. Working as an essential worker for sure got me out of the house and helped take up some of my time but I also did my hobbies, got dressed daily like I had somewhere to go, took billions of selfies and posted few, cooked new recipes, watched old NFL games and took a few long drives.
Q: Are you more of a morning or night bird
A: I think it depends on the day, typically a mixture of both
Q: Why did you stop working at Emerson
A: I was there for 7 years, at times it felt like my exit was a little long overdue but I kept my word and stayed with Ronald his whole way throughout middle school. On one side there was no ability for me to grow any further there and on the other the original feeling of the team just was no longer the same. Its hard to be somewhere that your drive and passion is not matched, rather it is met with people who like to nag and drag their feet. I know that each of my 7 years I gave my class and amazing experience that they will remember as a highlight from their elementary journey. However, of course with this whole pandemic going on I wish that I would have chose to come back to at least have given them a bang to remember for the starting of the year, but I'm all about divine time and it was just my divine time to leave.
Q: What one thing do you want to leave the world with
A: I want to be remembered for my positivity and that I made a positive impact on everyone that I came across
