So the draft round one was last night and I feel like they did a good job with putting it together, no ones streams were lagging or had a bad connection. But the overall feel of the actual excitement was lacking for me.
Being that I am a Raiders fan I will be elaborating on the picks that we made
Our first pick was:
Henry Ruggs iii is from Alabama State, I feel like this was an Al Davis pick for sure. It was hands down the position that we were going to get, we needed a fast receiver. His speed is for sure something that we need, he wan 4.27 in the 40 yard dash. I believe that Waller, Renfrow and Jacobs will work well with Ruggs and that we will see the ball travel down the field with ease.
Our second pick was:
Damon Arnette is from Ohio State, Mayock called him second round talent but they didn't want to loose the chance of getting him. We went in needing a Corner back and this one is leaving me with questions for sure. Thru his stats we see that he is up to Gruden's standard of playing and tackling well so he should fit in well with Conley being gone.
Of course I like many other Raiders fans thought that we would be getting big names like Lamb, Jeudy, Henderson, Okudah or Swift. But we all know that Gruden and Mayock have their own dreams and thought on how the team can hit that potential. I've been a Gruden fan for a while so I have faith in his choices and style. Istead of going for clear stars we typically go for people that have star potential and stand out in their own way. Hopefully these picks will make Carr move a little bit more and be pushed out of his comfort zone.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
-These at home calls were nothing like Marshawn getting his call at Oakland Tech about being drafted to the Bills
-Tua's family had to be one of my favorites, they were just so put together and matching
-The best outfit had to go to Ruggs with the white bath robe
-The boos of Goodell just weren't the same
-These people weren't really social distancing, they had so many people in their homes
-The moms and girlfriends were so dressed up, it was like it was their club night lol
-Isaiah Wilson's mom snatched his girl friend off his lap so quick when his call came in, lol maybe mom should be drafted
-CeeDee Lamb was not letting the girlfriend get that phone, he snatched it back in a quickness...lol
